Solutions Engineer III (DevOps)

Focus on solving complex technical challenges, deepening industry expertise, and influencing strategic decision-making in modern development workflows including AI and DevSecOps.

Location: In this role you can work from Remote, Japan. Ability to travel up to 25% throughout Japan to meet with customers, with occasional travel beyond (e.g. USA, Australia) for company events.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain technical pre-sales relationships with business customers and prospects.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Sales team to identify customer requirements and provide live demonstrations of the hirify.global Enterprise platform.
• Serve as an intermediary between sales and technical teams, influencing product strategy with customer feedback.
• Educate prospects on product implementation and usage while advocating for customer interests.
• Assist customers in integrating hirify.global with existing development tools and workflows, providing guidance on DevOps pipelines and code deployment.
• Articulate the value of DevOps and DevSecOps to external stakeholders through presentations and documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience in technical consulting, consultative selling, or related technical/sales/industry experience.
• Experience owning all technical aspects of the sales cycle from discovery to post-sales transition.
• Familiarity with modern development workflows, including AI coding assistants, agentic development tools, CI/CD, DevOps, and security best practices.
• Business proficiency in both English and Japanese languages is required.
• Ability to travel up to 25% throughout Japan, with occasional international travel.
• Domain knowledge in Source Control Management (SCM), Git & hirify.global workflows, DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and AI's impact on developer tools.
