Salary: $108,630—$127,800 USD

What you will do

• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly monitoring of trade surveillance and develop and implement surveillance reports as required.
• Review and investigate alerts generated by surveillance systems and properly escalate as necessary.
• Assist in new asset launches and monitoring market depth and liquidity relative to other assets and exchanges.
• Work with engineering and support staff to create process efficiencies and improvements.
• Enforce and enhance policies and procedures related to hirify.global Trading operations and Trading Rules.
• Collaborate with other key compliance individuals and separate hirify.global business lines on compliance investigations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years relevant experience in market surveillance and or trading capacity.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills, and a quick learner.
• Knowledge of market structure.
• Cross functional experience as well as proficient with creation and management of policies and procedures.
• Experience in leveraging AI tools for research, problem-solving, and optimizing workflows.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrency ecosystems, and DeFi.
• FINRA Series or other relevant certifications.
• Knowledge of related Compliance functions (e.g. AML, Employee Control Room Compliance).
• Ability to query and manage data (e.g. SQL).
