TL;DR

Distribution Manager, APAC (MedTech): Managing and expanding the regional distributor network across Asia-Pacific with an accent on strengthening market performance, identifying new partners, and driving sales capability for innovative medical devices. Focus on influencing clinical and executive stakeholders, navigating complex healthcare systems, and ensuring market penetration for advanced imaging solutions.

Location: Remote (must be based in Australia). This position requires travel up to 75% across APAC. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and do not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.

Salary: 165,000 AUD – 189,000 AUD + bonus + equity + benefits.

What you will do

  • Manage and grow the regional distributor network across Asia-Pacific, prioritizing China and Taiwan.
  • Strengthen performance in existing markets and onboard new partners.
  • Build sales capability and drive market penetration.
  • Support deal closure and ensure repeat ordering momentum.
  • Influence clinical and executive stakeholders across diverse healthcare systems.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years experience in medical devices, digital health, diagnostics, or ultrasound.
  • Demonstrated success managing distributors across APAC or emerging markets.
  • Track record of closing hospital, government, or private healthcare deals through channel partners.
  • Competent with sales forecasting, funnel reviews, and partner KPIs.
  • English: C1 (fluent in business, technical, and clinical communication).
  • Mandarin Chinese strongly preferred for China/Taiwan partner engagement.
