What you will do

• Provide primary production support for front office trading applications.
• Write and maintain Python scripts to automate support tasks and improve system workflows.
• Manage end-to-end change management processes for production and research environments.
• Collaborate with developers to implement code changes and deliver new services.
• Assist traders and brokers with post-release support and go-live scenarios.
• Troubleshoot database and application performance issues in a Linux-based stack.

Requirements

• Proven experience supporting applications in a Linux environment.
• Strong scripting and development skills in Python.
• Proficiency in querying and troubleshooting SQL and Postgres databases.
• Understanding of complex application architectures.
• Prior experience within a front office or trading environment.
• Must be based in Montreal or able to commute to the office for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with FIX protocol.
• Prior work in high-frequency or rapid-paced financial trading environments.
