What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient backend systems.
• Create and maintain robust, secure RESTful APIs for frontend applications and third-party integrations.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database schemas for maximum performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver feature-rich products.
• Monitor backend systems for performance and anomalies, implementing fixes and improvements.
• Maintain high code quality through regular code reviews, pair programming, and rigorous testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, C++, or Java.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of API design and security/data protection best practices.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Knowledge of Graphics APIs like OpenGL or Vulkan.
• Experience with WebRTC streaming protocols.
• Background in Machine Learning Infrastructure, specifically computer vision.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
