Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 + 10% bonus

What you will do

• Design and assure scalable, secure, and resilient application and integration solutions covering bespoke applications, SaaS platforms, and third-party services.
• Define and promote integration patterns including APIs, event-driven integration, messaging, and data synchronisation.
• Develop and assure roadmaps for application modernisation and integration platform adoption.
• Manage the decommissioning of legacy systems to streamline the technical landscape.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing and delivering application and integration solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of modern architectures, including cloud-native, microservices, and modular monolith approaches.
• Proven expertise in implementing integration solutions using APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience integrating SaaS products with existing enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of information security, identity, and access management (IAM).
• Must be based in the UK and able to travel to London or Newcastle offices every 1-3 months.

Nice to have

• Experience working in regulated or public sector environments.
• Familiarity with TOGAF or other architectural frameworks.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and user-centered design principles.
