TL;DR

Staff Product Designer (SaaS): Designing and prototyping solutions for complex problems in a class-leading SaaS product with desktop, tablet, and mobile touchpoints with an accent on research, interface design, and user understanding. Focus on validating product ideas through experimental design, iterating toward shippable solutions, and mentoring junior designers.

Location: Remote (US). Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location.

Salary: $168,200 USD – $224,900 USD

What you will do

  • Build positive & collaborative relationships with product, engineering, and research to explore, build, and ship work.
  • Develop deep expertise across multiple product problem areas.
  • Quickly prototype solutions to visual and interaction problems.
  • Talk to users and understanding their problems and current pain-points.
  • Design simple, elegant experiences that solve real problems.
  • Validate product ideas through experimental design and research approaches.

Requirements

  • Experience designing a modern SaaS or enterprise platform.
  • An outstanding portfolio showcasing UX, interaction, visual design, and idea generation.
  • Expert knowledge and experience with the end-to-end iterative design process.
  • Passion for solving core product problems while balancing user experience facets.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • At least one year of experience directly managing a team of two or more people.
