Location: Working in office 3 days per week in Los Angeles, San Jose, New York City, or Chicago, Illinois. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

Salary: $164,000–$246,000 (base pay range).

What you will do

• Define and lead the long-term design vision and strategy for major, cross-functional product domains.
• Act as the principal designer translating complex AI capabilities into intuitive, high-trust, and scalable experiences.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering Leadership to define the product roadmap and architecture from a user-centered perspective.
• Set the bar for design quality across the entire platform, guiding the evolution of the design system.
• Lead high-impact research initiatives to inform high-level strategic product decisions.
• Own execution on complex projects and mentor other designers in strategy, execution, and cross-functional leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience designing and shipping high-quality, complex SaaS or enterprise products at scale.
• World-class portfolio showcasing exceptional strategic thinking, interaction design, and visual polish, particularly with large-scale data applications.
• Proven experience successfully leading and shipping new platform components from 0-1.
• Mastery of design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) and deep experience contributing to robust design systems.
• Advanced proficiency in AI-powered tools (e.g., Figma Make, ChatGPT/Gemini/Claude) to accelerate design.
• Expert knowledge in designing intelligent, AI-driven experiences, including establishing user controls and building trust.
