Salary: $87,082–$161,723 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate and maintain data governance tools, including BigID and Alation.
• Partner with business and IT teams to ensure accurate and complete documentation of data assets and ownership.
• Support the ongoing operation of hirify.global’s Data Governance Framework, ensuring consistency with enterprise standards.
• Conduct data discovery and sensitivity analysis through BigID to identify and classify sensitive data.
• Maintain high-quality metadata in Alation, including glossary terms, lineage, and stewardship assignments.
• Coordinate with Legal, Security, and Compliance functions to maintain data protection standards (GDPR, CCPA).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Governance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data governance, data management, or compliance-related roles.
• Hands-on experience with BigID and Alation, or comparable governance and privacy management tools.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Understanding of data governance principles, including metadata management, data stewardship, data quality, and privacy compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
