What you will do

  • Support clients during implementation and post-implementation phases of payment solutions.
  • Act as a technical bridge between internal teams and external clients to maximize client success.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for escalation support and incident management.
  • Provide accurate communication on issue progress and collaborate with IT teams.
  • Assist in deployment and take ownership of assigned work packages.
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiency and automation improvements.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Tokyo, Japan.
  • 5+ years supporting mission-critical Java applications in financial services.
  • 3+ years in client-facing roles with strong communication skills.
  • Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases and querying RESTful APIs.
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotations and manage support issues effectively.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance.
  • Experience with Mastercard and Visa card processing networks.
