Location: This role is primarily based in Krakow, Poland, with an initial work format of Hybrid. However, hirify.global offers an Unlimited Work From Home policy and Work From Anywhere possibilities in hirify.global-approved countries.

Salary: For B2B contracts: 141-211 PLN/h + VAT. For Permanent contracts: 19 660-29 500 PLN gross.

What you will do

• Define the architectural strategy, establish priorities, and drive execution across all technical initiatives.
• Design complex and high-impact technical solutions, leading critical decisions and ensuring alignment among multiple engineering teams.
• Coordinate the Global Tech Debt Resolution program and maintain high-quality standards.
• Research and discover emerging technology opportunities (including AI) to generate business impact.
• Coach and mentor engineers, providing architectural guidance and high-quality technical feedback.
• Own hosting infrastructure, ensuring its fit-to-purpose and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to design and build large-scale, highly complex systems.
• Proven track record of proposing and delivering high-impact technological initiatives.
• Experience leading technical programs spanning multiple engineering teams.
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
• Strong practical experience in AI-driven coding, including establishing robust and efficient development environments.
• Solid working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, and React.
• Expert-level proficiency in at least two database engines.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts.
