Location: Hybrid (USA). Candidates are required to work from the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work optional on Mondays and Fridays.

Salary: US$85,000 – US$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end merchant disputes and unauthorized card claims, ensuring strict compliance with Reg E and Reg Z.
• Clear real-time transaction alerts for credit cards and loan disbursements to prevent fraudulent outflows.
• Identify unauthorized transaction patterns to suggest "rule tuning" for fraud engines, helping to lower the overall fraud loss rate.
• Partner with the second line of defense to implement and test fraud rules within engines.
• Work to streamline the evidence-gathering process for chargebacks to increase the "win rate" with merchants.
• Guide customers through the dispute process, providing clarity and empathy.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in credit card disputes and chargeback management.
• Deep familiarity with Regulation E and Regulation Z, understanding mandatory timelines for investigating and resolving claims.
• Enjoy high-volume environments and take pride in clearing queues without sacrificing accuracy.
• Strong written skills for drafting dispute responses to merchants and clear verbal skills for explaining complex dispute outcomes to customers.
