What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex engineering initiatives, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding system architecture and design decisions.
• Lead design reviews, address technical debt, and ensure systems meet non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with Product and other Engineering Managers to plan and prioritize work, managing cross-team dependencies.
• Drive operational excellence by improving engineering practices and tracking execution metrics.
• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing engineering teams, contributing to recruitment.

Requirements

• Strong engineering foundation with a relevant graduate or post-graduate degree.
• Extensive experience delivering large-scale enterprise software using modern engineering practices.
• Proven engineering leadership experience, managing cross-functional teams with Agile/XP methodologies.
• Deep technical expertise in Java, Angular/JavaScript, distributed systems, and object-oriented design.
• Comprehensive understanding of the full SDLC, including CI/CD automation, testing strategies, application security, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with experience resolving complex architectural and operational challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong product mindset, capable of engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
