Location: Hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney, or Tokyo.

What you will do

• Own the overall quality vision, strategy, and execution for hirify.global Objects across releases, defining quality standards and KPIs.
• Actively contribute technically to quality engineering efforts, including test design, automation framework enhancements, and failure investigations.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing QA team, coaching engineers on test design and automation best practices.
• Oversee functional, integration, regression, scalability, and reliability testing, and drive automation strategy and adoption.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, DevOps, and Support teams to proactively identify risks and ensure production readiness.
• Track and analyze quality metrics, present clear insights to leadership, and continuously improve QA processes, tools, and workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with 2+ years in a QA leadership or managerial role.
• Strong technical foundation with experience testing distributed systems, storage platforms, or cloud-native services.
• Solid understanding of automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and modern QA methodologies.
• Experience with object storage systems, S3 APIs, or large-scale unstructured data platforms.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, or hybrid-cloud environments.
