What you will do

• Lead and scale an engineering organization of approximately 30 engineers, managing 2 team leads.
• Define and review architectural solutions to ensure alignment with project goals and technical standards.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve engineering processes, including AI-driven development initiatives.
• Advise team leads on development strategies, quality assurance, and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders for strategic alignment.
• Contribute hands-on to architecture, AI initiatives, and coding as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience with AI technologies and AIDLC, comfortable guiding AI-driven projects and teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with proven experience managing multiple engineering teams.
• Strong technical expertise in React, Node.js, NestJS, and AWS.
• Solid experience in system architecture, engineering process design, quality ownership models, and automation strategies.
• Deep understanding of SDLC and demonstrated success in optimizing team performance and developer experience.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD environments.
• Strong cloud expertise, particularly with AWS.
• Must be based in New York, US.
