What you will do
- Develop and execute a commercial development strategy aligned with business priorities and workforce planning.
- Build understanding of market context, customers, products, and competitive landscape to inform capability initiatives.
- Partner with senior commercial stakeholders to agree priorities and execute high-impact learning plans.
- Design and deliver engaging commercial skills training, both in-person and virtually.
- Collaborate with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition to strengthen recruitment and onboarding.
- Use data to diagnose capability gaps and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of core commercial skills, digital media environments, and blended learning strategies.
- Proven ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders, and engage people across all levels of a commercial organization.
- Experience in a commercial role or a people development function supporting commercial teams.
- Strong relationship-building capability, with experience partnering across commercial teams, HR Business Partners, and Learning & Talent colleagues.
- Experience designing and facilitating impactful learning interventions, including virtual delivery.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to identify performance gaps and measure learning impact.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting digitally focused revenue teams within a subscription, media, or information services environment.
- Experience embedding commercial capability programmes across multiple markets or functions.
- Coaching qualification or accreditation in recognized psychometric tools.
