What you will do

• Lead a Scrum team of backend developers.
• Grow your team’s technical expertise in quality, scalability, performance, and reliability using Go and Python.
• Support engineers in their career development through mentorship, goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Management to define and execute the team roadmap.
• Partner with Engineering Leadership and Project Management to deliver cross-team initiatives.
• Provide production system support, ensuring high availability, incident response, and rapid resolution for critical issues.

Requirements

• Experience leading individuals and/or engineering teams.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong project management skills using Agile methodologies.
• Deep understanding of engineering processes and best practices.
• Experience in hiring and onboarding engineers.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern airline retailing technologies and standards.
• Experience with integration patterns.
• Domain expertise in aviation.
• Hands-on experience with production system monitoring, incident management, and high-availability systems.
