What you will do

• Serve as player/coach: contribute code and supervise Portfolio Data Engineers in Poland.
• Drive technical direction for portfolio data pipelines in alignment with global teams.
• Build and manage a team of exceptional engineers.
• Partner with product and multi-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable data solutions.
• Lead development of pipelines for financial data ingestion, analysis, and enrichment.
• Advocate for automation, optimizations, process controls, and metrics to boost data quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading data engineering teams plus several years as individual contributor.
• Computer science degree or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of OOP language (PySpark, Python, Java), relational DBs, SQL, data pipelines.
• Legal right to work in Poland from day one; no visa sponsorship.

• Knowledge of financial concepts (stocks, bonds).
