Location: Hybrid (New York City, USA). Work from home on Monday and Friday and in hirify.global’s New York City office Tuesday through Thursday. The base salary range is specific to candidates located in the New York City area.

What you will do

• Lead the design and deployment of AI-powered platforms and identity data products.
• Design end-to-end AI solutions using foundation models, multi-agent orchestration (MAS), and RAG pipelines.
• Identify systemic risks and ensure reliability, availability, and scalability of data pipelines and systems.
• Mentor other engineers, providing design feedback and fostering technical excellence.
• Implement efficient RAG architectures and integrate with enterprise data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the data infrastructure team to build a unified data management and processing platform using Apache Spark, Unity Catalog, Iceberg, Dagster.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, especially in data engineering and AI/ML.
• Deep expertise in applied AI/ML techniques (Deep Learning, NLP, GNNs) and technologies (Agentic AI, RAG, Prompt/Context Engineering).
• Fluency in Python or a similar backend language.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable data processing pipelines and understanding how to store and retrieve large sets of data.
• Experience implementing various data warehousing architectures, including products like Snowflake or Databricks.
• Proven record of leading AI/ML projects, ideally RAG applications.
• Proven experience with agentic frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen) and modern data infrastructure (Kafka, Spark, Vector Search).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with expertise in producing visuals for technical communication.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with graph data models and graph data processing (Neo4j or PuppyGraph).
• Hands-on experience in implementing the Lakehouse architecture.
• Familiarity with identity resolution and experience building identity resolution systems.
• Experience with backend API designing and implementation.
• Experience optimizing the end-to-end performance of distributed systems.
• Impeccable attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
