Location: New York, United States. MAI employees are expected to work from a designated hirify.global office at least four days a week if they live within 50 miles of that location.

Salary: USD $158,400 – $304,200 per year (New York City metropolitan area)

• Develop algorithms, model architectures, data mixtures, and scaling laws for large-scale training.
• Drive algorithmic implementations, conduct experiments, and oversee flagship training runs on a large-scale distributed stack.
• Collaborate closely with teams on infrastructure, data, post-training, and multimodality.
• Contribute to creating AI that amplifies human potential while ensuring humanity remains firmly in control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Proven expertise in areas of interest, evidenced by an exceptional publication track record and significant technical leadership.
• Experience and/or in-depth understanding of large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
