What you will do

• Drive development and implementation of state-of-the-art algorithms and models for supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning.
• Support the development of GenAI products that can handle AWS-scale use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, product managers, scientists) to identify and solve complex problems in Gen AI.
• Design and execute experiments to evaluate the performance of algorithms and models, and iterate quickly.
• Think big about the development arc of Gen AI and identify new application opportunities.
• Communicate results and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications.
• PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or a related language.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.
• Experience using managed ML/AI solutions.
• Experience with large-scale machine learning systems, including profiling, debugging, system performance, and scalability.
• Work authorization for the USA required.

Nice to have

• Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark.
