Location: Remote (Must be based in Guadalajara). Ideal candidates would be based in Guadalajara or the surrounding areas, with the right to work there, and be able to work within four hours of Eastern Standard Time.

What you will do

• Lead and manage an engineering team, ensuring alignment with product and business goals.
• Own the overall health, scalability, and quality of products within the team’s domain.
• Drive technical execution and delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions.
• Facilitate and continuously improve team processes, including development, planning, and on-call rotations.
• Coach and mentor engineers, supporting their career growth and skill development.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, and Business teams to align technical strategy with company objectives.

Requirements

• BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with 1+ years in a management role.
• Strong technical background in software development, cloud platforms, and modern architecture.
• Experience working in agile development environments and driving process improvements.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong collaboration skills, with experience working across Product, Design, and Business functions.
• Must be based in Guadalajara or the surrounding areas, with the right to work there.
• Able to work within four hours of Eastern Standard Time.
