TL;DR

Software Engineering Manager (SaaS): Leading and coordinating a team to deliver solutions for a next-generation SaaS marketing performance management technology with an accent on understanding customer requirements, planning, and strategic thinking. Focus on building and motivating a team to solve challenging technical problems and ensuring continuous growth for team members.

Location: Remote opportunity, but Our ideal candidate will be located in Canada.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Product Management, User Experience, and Development teams to define and implement solutions.
  • Manage 1-2 development teams, including 1:1s, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate the team through agile practices such as scrum, planning, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct capacity planning and balance tech debt with product roadmap initiatives.
  • Support and improve the development process within the team.
  • Provide career development and support for your team members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Development.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience within a software development team.
  • Experience with Agile software development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive culture and manage competing priorities.
  • Work from Canada is ideal.

  • Experience working in the Marketing industry.
