TL;DR

Senior Enterprise Account Manager (Maritime): Managing a portfolio of enterprise customers from contract signature to activation and retention, with an accent on defining scalable processes for unique Starlink products in the maritime industry. Focus on delivering impeccable customer service, influencing programmatic and technical development, and ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.

Location: This is NOT a remote position and would require relocation if not local to the Redmond, WA, Hawthorne, CA, or Bastrop, TX area. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), Refugee, or Asylee, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State due to ITAR requirements.

Salary: $125,000.00–$180,000.00/per year

What you will do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise customers in the maritime industry, managing onboarding, account management, retention, and growth.
  • Define, standardize, and streamline processes to scale custom Starlink solutions across the business.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, including efficient issue acknowledgment and resolution.
  • Collect, communicate, and champion customer feedback internally to influence product development.
  • Retain and grow account value in both hardware and service revenue, ensuring forecasted revenue is realized.
  • Identify and lead implementation of process and system enhancements to improve cross-functional execution and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business OR high school diploma/equivalency certificate and 10+ years of professional business development, operations, engineering, or account management experience.
  • 7+ years of consulting or project management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Must be available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
  • Availability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time to customer sites/meetings.
  • U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or eligibility for ITAR authorizations required.

Nice to have

  • Demonstrated experience in account management or sales within maritime industries (e.g., cruise lines, merchant shipping, cargo transport, offshore operations), especially with onboard connectivity, satellite integrations, or fleet/mobility applications.
  • Experience managing multiple projects under tight constraints.
  • Significant technical knowledge of Starlink or telecommunications (satellites, ground network, user terminals).
  • Ability to read contract documents and discern requirements and deliverables.
