What you will do
- Own the analytical layer for the founders' operating cadence, maintaining dashboards and recurring analyses for leadership alignment on growth, retention, ARR, unit economics, and operational health.
- Turn ambiguous questions from founders and Chiefs of Staffs into clear, structured, and defensible answers that inform business decisions.
- Drive alignment among stakeholders on how key metrics are defined, tracked, and interpreted, building vertical-specific views.
- Use SQL and AI to extract, shape, and analyze data across the stack, building lightweight assets and knowing when to collaborate with the broader data team.
- Support strategic planning cadences, including QBRs, annual planning inputs, and ad-hoc initiative tracking, delivering concise and impactful insights.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a role requiring analytical rigor, such as consulting, investment banking, strategy, BizOps at a fast-scaling tech company, or data analytics translating numbers into business decisions.
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to build analytical assets that stakeholders depend on.
- Fluency with AI tooling as a day-to-day working practice for code writing, data exploration, and accelerating analysis.
- Sharp eye for detail, noticing and fixing discrepancies before they escalate.
- Clear, precise communication skills, distilling complex business questions into actionable answers.
- Self-directed and highly organized, owning workstreams, surfacing blockers early, and operating with independence.
- Genuine curiosity about how the entire business works, not just a specific segment.
- Flexible across time zones and willing to travel, with occasional East Coast calls and travel to ' hubs.
