Senior Business Development Manager (IoT): Building strong relationships with new prospects and onboarding new accounts within the IoT Sector with an accent on identifying key players and market requirements. Focus on creating new appointments, consulting with customers to solve business problems, and achieving quarterly sales goals.

What you will do

  • Identify key players and requirements within your focus market.
  • Actively create new appointments through a multi-touch sales strategy.
  • Attend customer appointments to establish rewarding relationships.
  • Consult with prospective customers to solve business problems and deliver high-quality proposals.
  • Build, maintain, and manage a high-performing blended sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to host or assist on events, webinars, or other prospect attraction initiatives.
  • Work towards consistently achieving your quarterly goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years’ business development experience using a consultative sales process.
  • Minimum of 7 years demonstrable experience of solutions-based selling.
  • Experience in IoT Connectivity sales.
  • Successful track record in acquiring new business in a B2B environment.
  • Natural ability to build rapport and achieve engagement from a wide variety of people.
  • Commercially confident to discuss complex topics with high-level decision makers.
  • Strong objection handling, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent written, face-to-face, and phone communication skills.
