Data Delivery Lead (Data): Owning and orchestrating the successful delivery of data initiatives with an accent on stakeholder alignment, portfolio coordination, and delivery excellence. Focus on translating business requirements into technical work, managing concurrent projects in agile environments, and mitigating delivery risks.

Location: Hybrid working in Manchester City Centre, UK. You’ll be in the office one day every two weeks.

What you will do

• Act as the primary liaison between Data teams and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable technical work.
• Provide leadership by influencing and driving clarity and alignment across teams, contributing to long-term roadmap and capacity planning.
• Lead multiple concurrent data initiatives from inception to deployment, managing scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, removing blockers to maintain momentum and facilitate agile ceremonies.
• Maintain transparent reporting through documentation, dashboards, and stakeholder updates, tracking key delivery metrics.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and technical standards, overseeing third-party tools and partner integrations.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering complex data or technology initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in agile environments.
• A structured, pragmatic approach to delivery and risk management.
• Confidence translating between technical and business domains.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing ambiguity.
• Experience using delivery metrics to drive performance.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence without authority.
• Solid appreciation of modern data platforms and engineering practices.
• Work confidently with delivery tooling (e.g. Jira).
