What you will do

• Create and expand an inspection service offering catalogue with a sustainable contractor base.
• Lead commercial pricing discussions with clients and negotiate rates with contractors to protect margins.
• Conduct technical vetting and capability evaluations for new surveyor contractors to ensure UK housing standard compliance.
• Oversee the full "order-to-completion" lifecycle of inspection work orders, ensuring delivery within agreed SLAs.
• Monitor contractor performance using data-driven KPIs and audit reports against the Decent Homes Standard and Building Safety Act.
• Act as the primary point of contact and mediator between Landlords/Housing Associations and contractors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a technical housing role (RP or contractor) within the UK Social Housing sector.
• Professional background in surveying or technical property inspections.
• Expert-level knowledge of HHSRS, UK building regulations, disrepairs, voids, damp and mould, and stock condition surveys.
• Strong commercial acumen for justifying costs to clients and negotiating with vendors.
• Ability to leverage the hirify.global platform to automate workflows and extract performance data.
• Authoritative yet collaborative communication style for managing contractor accountability.
