What you will do

• Review and analyze complex customer contracts for ASC 606 revenue recognition compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Deal Desk, Operations, and FP&A to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting and financial closes.
• Drive automation and standardization of revenue processes, including supporting NetSuite ARM implementation and revenue automation software.
• Support preparation of ASC 606 financial disclosures and respond to audit inquiries.
• Assist leadership in streamlining revenue accounting workflows and improving operational efficiency.
• Leverage AI tools to extract contract terms, automate documentation, and summarize key decisions.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States with preference for Pacific or Mountain Time zones.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 6-8 years of revenue accounting experience in SaaS with strong ASC 606 knowledge.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP/CRM systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce.
• Proven ability to manage complex contracts, navigate ambiguity, and deliver results independently.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience driving process improvements and embracing change in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with dedicated revenue automation software like Zuora RevPro or equivalent.
• Background in Big 4 or large regional accounting firms.
• Familiarity with AI integration in workflow automation.
