Revenue Manager

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $146,000 - $177,300 USD (up to $197,000 USD in select US locations)

What you will do

• Lead first-level review of monthly revenue recognition activities and oversee complex contract reviews.
• Research and document accounting conclusions for complex revenue transactions and maintain revenue recognition policy.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Product, Data, and F&S to evaluate revenue implications of new initiatives.
• Strengthen documentation, review procedures, and revenue-related internal controls.
• Support external audit processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to the team.

Requirements

• 6–9+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant focus on revenue recognition.
• Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606, including contracts with multiple performance obligations, contract modifications, and SSP analysis.
• Experience reviewing complex contracts and non-standard deal structures.
• Experience leading or reviewing monthly revenue close processes.
• Demonstrated ability to research, document, and defend accounting conclusions.
• Experience working in a SaaS or technology company environment.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and audit requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• CPA and/or Big 4 public accounting experience.
• Experience drafting technical accounting memos for external auditors.
• Experience supporting pricing model evolution or new revenue streams.
• Exposure to IPO readiness or public company reporting environments.
• Experience driving revenue process automation or system enhancements.
