What you will do

• Lead the Platform & Developer Experience organization, setting technical and product direction.
• Deliver highly scalable, performant, and resilient platform services, including infrastructure and internal chat/voice applications.
• Provide exceptional internal tooling, developer environments, AI automation, frameworks, and testing infrastructure to accelerate engineering velocity.
• Drive alignment and communicate tradeoffs across product, SRE/ops, security, infra, and external partners.
• Own architectural direction and make pragmatic tradeoffs between scalability, reliability, cost, and developer velocity.
• Coach and hire senior engineers and engineering managers, fostering a high-trust culture.

Requirements

• Outstanding cross-team communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
• Proven experience with product vision, outcome-driven planning, and roadmap definition with measurable impact.
• Track record of tooling & process innovation (CI-CD, IaC, observability) and strong change-management instincts.
• Deep technical/architectural leadership with hands-on systems knowledge in cloud-native, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Experience building and operating highly scalable platform services and infrastructure-related code, with strong preference for real-time communication systems (chat/voice).
• Developer Experience (DevX) expertise, including designing developer environments and integrating AI automation into workflows.
• Experience leading, coaching, and hiring senior engineers and engineering managers.
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment with competing priorities and a bias for measurable outcomes.

Nice to have

• Prior experience running or modernizing internal chat/voice applications (WebRTC/SIP/real-time systems).
• Background with Terraform/CloudFormation, Kubernetes, Prometheus/Grafana, distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry).
• Experience shipping DevX products with a customer (developer) experience mindset or LLM/AI tooling integrations.
