What you will do

• Define the Payments Performance vision and strategy, translating company goals into a multi-year roadmap for fraud, compliance, routing, and anomaly detection.
• Lead Fraud Prevention products, owning the fraud decisioning stack and driving the shift to modular, ML-driven defense strategies.
• Lead Compliance decisioning and automation, focusing on the transactional compliance stack and building a real-time, API-first platform.
• Lead Routing (smart routing & orchestration) across payment providers, optimizing for approval rate, cost, latency, and resiliency.
• Lead Anomaly Detection & Alert Manager as a company-wide platform, scaling models and driving automated diagnostics and actions.
• Drive AI-first automation initiatives in partnership with AI & Decisions Engineering to reduce manual work and improve consistency.
• Build, lead, and coach a team of Product Managers, setting high standards for discovery, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Define and track core KPIs to prioritize the roadmap and communicate impact to leadership and partners.

Requirements

• 10+ years in product management in payments/fintech, with 5+ years in fraud prevention and/or compliance decisioning (sanctions, TM, KYC/KYT) in emerging markets.
• Strong understanding of authorization flows, chargebacks, AML concepts, sanctions screening, TM, KYC/KYT, and routing.
• Proven track record improving payments performance (CR, TPV) across multiple emerging markets (LATAM, Africa, APAC, or similar).
• Experience owning horizontal platforms such as decisioning engines, routing engines, or alert managers.
• Strong data and experimentation mindset, comfortable working with Data Science/ML teams to ship and iterate on models.
• Experience leading and developing Product Managers, with excellent stakeholder management across various teams.
• Clear, concise communication in English, able to interface with senior leaders and regulators.
