What you will do

• Design and implement secure, reliable, and scalable backend services, covering technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Build and ensure production-grade quality for the tracking collector service, enriching event streams with business context.
• Develop backend capabilities to expose customer-specific reporting and usage analytics, ensuring secure access and scalability.
• Collaborate with the AI & Data Products squad to enable intelligent product features through robust data foundations.
• Establish shared standards for event contracts, service interfaces, and operational reliability across teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience with production ownership, ideally in event-driven or data-intensive systems.
• Strong backend engineering skills with TypeScript/Node.js (or adjacent languages with willingness to work in TS).
• Experience building and consuming APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) and integrating across multiple internal systems.
• Solid knowledge of reliability patterns: testing strategy, observability, and incident response mindset.
• Experience with at least some of: Kafka, distributed systems patterns, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Clear communication in English.
