Senior Manager, Carbon Markets & Public Incentives: Leading the strategy and execution for carbon credits and public incentives for electric and autonomous freight with an accent on government incentive acquisition, carbon credit monetization, and policy advocacy. Focus on resolving regulatory hurdles, building partnerships, and integrating these programs across the business to accelerate sustainability goals.

Location: This is a full-time position based in Austin, TX or New York, NY.

Salary: $155,000 – $170,000 per year

What you will do

  • Identify, apply for, win, and manage federal, state, and local government incentives for hirify.global.
  • Lead the US strategy for carbon credit and book & claim offerings, building partnerships to monetize credits.
  • Serve as hirify.global's primary US advocate with transportation authorities to resolve regulatory hurdles.
  • Evolve carbon credit products and drive adoption across the business.
  • Ensure compliance of acquired government incentives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in carbon markets, government affairs, public policy, sustainability within transportation, energy, or clean technology.
  • Experience in the carbon markets industry is a must.
  • Preferred experience in securing government grants and incentives, understanding US clean transportation policy, and established government relationships.
  • Excellent program management, written and verbal communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools.
