TL;DR

Senior Analyst, Incentive Compensation (Finance): Manages and administers sales compensation plans for Business Development professionals, overseeing the end-to-end process of incentive compensation. Focus on ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely reporting, along with supporting monthly payout cycles and collaborating with various departments.

Location: Remote, must be based in or able to work from Budapest, Hungary. Flexible hours to align with East Coast leadership.

What you will do

  • Administer sales compensation plans in cloud-based software, configuring commissions, bonuses, thresholds, and quotas.
  • Manage data inputs and outputs, ensuring correct mapping to personnel and sales credits.
  • Perform quality control, validating inputs and results, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Support monthly payout cycles, managing exceptions, adjustments, and manual overrides.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Payroll, and HR to align plan logic with approved policies and budgets.
  • Update and document plan changes, implementing new quota structures and revised rules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field.
  • Previous experience in sales compensation, commission administration, or variable pay in a medium-to-large company.
  • Strong proficiency with CaptivateIQ or similar sales compensation management tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data validation, formulas).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
