Senior Product Designer (Payments): Designing customer experiences for billing and payments to ensure clarity and trust in financial UX, focusing on subscription costs, usage-based billing, and invoice details. Location: Remote (Americas, specifically NAMER). Applicants must be eligible to work from countries within the Americas region. A list of non-eligible countries is available via a provided resource.

Salary: $74,600 – $112,000 USD

What you will do

  • Design how customers understand and verify what they’re charged for, owning UX for subscription and usage-based billing.
  • Shape billing-aligned usage tracking and reporting, contributing to or owning design for Usage Insights.
  • Design usage notifications and threshold moments, creating clear and timely customer communications.
  • Improve billing settings and invoices, refining flows for taxes, currency, credits, and invoice history.
  • Support self-serve and Enterprise billing workflows, ensuring consistent patterns across different customer types.
  • Partner closely with product and engineering teams, participating in discovery and aligning on success metrics.

Requirements

  • You are a product designer with 5–7 years of experience, comfortable owning end-to-end design from discovery to iteration.
  • You care about clarity and trust in financial UX, motivated by making complex billing information understandable.
  • You are comfortable designing for data-heavy and settings-heavy experiences, thinking in systems and single screens.
  • You collaborate closely with PM and engineering, asking questions and iterating based on feedback and research.
  • You are curious about both self-serve and Enterprise needs in billing, willing to design for both contexts.
