TL;DR

Infrastructure Engineering, Lead (DevOps): Overseeing the physical and virtual IT infrastructure components, ensuring secure and robust platform to support all product lines and services. Focus on high availability, vendor management, and continuous improvement of infrastructure platforms to meet service level agreements and objectives.

Location: Must be eligible to work for hirify.global in Canada in a full-time capacity.

Salary: $120,000 - $145,000

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Architecture, Platform Engineering, and Dev-Sec-Ops teams to develop secure and robust infrastructure.
  • Provide technical leadership for solution design ensuring scalability, availability, security, performance and cost efficiency.
  • Manage operating systems and system software for software currency and stability.
  • Oversee monitoring and capacity management of all infrastructure and software platforms.
  • Ensure high availability to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Service Level Objectives (SLO).
  • Manage vendor relationships to align with specified requirements.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT and/or 8+ years of equivalent IT working experience.
  • Eligibility to work for hirify.global in Canada in a full-time capacity.
  • 7+ years of hands-on engineering experience within one or more infrastructure domains.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex infrastructure projects in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure architecture patterns, security principles, and operational best practices.
  • Familiarity with modern automation, observability, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
