Salary: 158,000 - 263,000 CAD

What you will do
- Define the long-term architectural roadmap and maintain VM and Kubernetes infrastructure across GCP and AWS.
- Lead the strategic modernization of services, guiding development teams in transitioning from monoliths to decoupled microservices.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and TACOS tools like Spacelift.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and Security teams on capacity planning, disaster recovery, and cloud-native system design.
- Build and manage comprehensive observability solutions using Grafana Cloud, Prometheus, and OTel collectors.
- Manage advanced networking components, including DNS automation and service mesh networking with Cilium.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 15+ years of progressive infrastructure engineering experience.
- Proven track record of guiding organizations through large-scale architectural transformations (monolith to microservices).
- Proficiency in Python, Go, and Bash.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes administration, GCP services (GKE, VPC, IAM), and Terraform.
- Must be based in Canada.

- Experience with GitOps methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in using LLM code assist tools to accelerate software development.
