Location: Hybrid with flexible work arrangements, based in Canada or Australia near offices in Kitchener, Winnipeg, Vancouver, or Melbourne.
Salary: $130,000—$150,000 CAD

What you will do
- Set hirify.global’s global tax strategy, overseeing risk management and international expansion considerations.
- Lead timely and accurate global tax compliance and reporting, including IFRS tax provisions.
- Manage global transfer pricing strategy, documentation, and optimization.
- Oversee global tax audits, inquiries, and develop audit defense strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic customer contracts, new products, and M&A initiatives.
- Lead and develop the global tax team, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of progressive tax leadership experience, including global scope.
- Experience in public company tax reporting (IFRS) and multi-jurisdiction operations.
- Strong executive communication skills; able to influence senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience building and scaling a tax function.
- Deep technical expertise across global tax areas (IFRS tax accounting, transfer pricing, indirect tax, cross-border transactions).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, economics, or related field.
- CPA designation or equivalent.
