Corporate Development Lead (Crypto)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; hybrid work with managers and teams deciding which 10+ days per month to work in the office

Annual base salary for California: $312,000–$375,000 USD, excluding equity, bonuses, and commissions.

What you will do

• Lead strategic market intelligence, competitive analysis, and research across the crypto ecosystem.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Business Development teams to qualify opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
• Lead acquisitions and investments from business-case development and market mapping through execution.
• Manage due diligence and post-deal integration with Finance, Legal, Tax, and People teams.
• Build relationships with blockchain entrepreneurs and investors to source opportunities and manage a high-velocity pipeline.
• Develop corporate development processes, performance backtesting, and qualitative and quantitative analyses.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, or Corporate Finance.
• Proven ability to build relationships with founders, CEOs, and industry leaders and generate proprietary deal flow.
• Experience managing multiple complex transactions through all phases from inception to completion.
• Experience building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams.
• Mastery of financial modeling, including three-statement analysis, valuation, and market data models.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and traditional financial services, with exceptional analytical and communication skills.
