TL;DR
UX Designer – Design Systems (Design Systems/AI): Owning and evolving components, patterns, and usage guidelines for an enterprise design system with an accent on accessibility, inclusivity, scalability, and AI-driven token-aware interactions. Focus on prototyping and validating component behavior, driving system decisions with Product Managers and Engineers, and delivering documentation for implementation.
Location: Onsite at the office in Delft, Kaiserslautern, or Budapest
Salary: €4,500–€5,500 per month

What you will do
- Own components, patterns, and usage guidelines from definition through delivery.
- Identify gaps in the enterprise design system and develop accessible, inclusive, and scalable solutions.
- Create prototypes to demonstrate, test, and communicate component behavior.
- Facilitate ideation and problem-solving with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and other stakeholders.
- Define how design and code intersect, including AI-driven and token-aware interfaces.
- Validate and refine components through feedback, usability testing, data analysis, and clear developer handover documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional UX design experience.
- Degree or vocational qualification in design, HCI, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of design systems and their strategic foundations.
- Strong Figma skills for component and pattern design, prototyping, and documentation.
- Experience working across design, engineering, and accessibility, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design system work at meaningful scale.
- Hands-on experience integrating design systems with AI tooling and token-based interactions.
