TL;DR
Intern UX / Design & Communication (UX, Visual Design, SharePoint): Improving user experiences for Citizen Development services and creating clear visual, written, and video content with an accent on user journeys, communication, and digital media. Location: HBP (Amsterdam - Haarlerbergpark), Netherlands; hybrid working
Internship allowance: €700 based on a 36-hour work week

ING is a bank offering an enterprise-scale digital transformation environment and an internship program for students.
What you will do
- Improve the end-to-end user experience of Citizen Development Centre of Excellence services, including the SharePoint hub, onboarding journeys, and supporting materials.
- Identify user friction points and design simple, intuitive flows that clarify next steps.
- Create infographics, presentations, UX mockups, and consistent visual content for complex governance, tools, and processes.
- Create and improve content for the Citizen Development SharePoint hub and present technical topics in accessible formats.
- Design and produce short tutorials, demonstrations, and success-story videos, including scripting, storyboarding, and editing.
- Collaborate on communications that support user engagement and adoption.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a student at a Dutch university.
- Studying UX/UI, design, communication, digital media, or a similar field.
- Strong skills with visual design tools such as Figma.
- Experience or interest in UX/UI design and user journeys.
- Ability to simplify complex information into clear messages.
- Basic experience with video creation and editing, plus strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Interest in no-code tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Familiarity with SharePoint or internal platforms.
- Experience designing for corporate or product environments.
- Interest in user behavior, engagement, and adoption.
