Senior IP Network Engineer (IP Network)

Senior IP Network Engineer (IP Network): Configuring and troubleshooting network architectures and designing technical solutions based on business requirements, with an accent on network automation and lifecycle management. Focus on interacting with A-level mobile carriers and working with vast global networks.
Location: Onsite in Sofia, Bulgaria

What you will do
- Configure and troubleshoot diverse network architectures.
- Design, test, and implement technical solutions based on business and operational requirements.
- Design, write, and update system documentation and network design guidelines.
- Manage network's software & hardware lifecycle.
- Take part in a guard duty service to support a 24/7 organization (Optional).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Telecom, IT, and/or Electronics.
- 5 years of relevant work experience in a Telecom/Internet service provider environment or vendor.
- Fluent English.
- Cisco/Alcatel SR Certified at Professional/Expert level or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Cisco IOS/Nokia SROS, IPv4/IPv6 Routing protocols (BGP/MP-BGP, ISIS, MPLS, Segment Routing), L2/L3 VPN designs, Traffic Engineering (RSVP, SR-TE), Quality of Service, and IP Sec configuration.
- Good scripting skills (preferably Python) used in the context of network automation.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-a-code principle and experience implementing it.
- Knowledge of programmable interfaces on Network equipment (e.g., RESTful APIs, netconf/yang).
- Knowledge of Public cloud solutions (preferably AWS).
- Experience with operation tools like Nagios, Splunk, Netcool.
