Network Engineer

TL;DR

Network Engineer (Infrastructure): Providing technical support and resolving network-related issues for global clients with an accent on Cisco technologies and OSI model protocols. Focus on diagnosing connectivity problems, configuring network devices, and ensuring high customer satisfaction within a hybrid work environment.

Location: Must be based in Sofia, Bulgaria (Hybrid work model). Note: This role requires working US shifts.

What you will do

• Resolve network-related service requests via troubleshooting sessions, email, and web.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot known network connectivity issues with precision.
• Configure and maintain network devices including IOS, IOS-XE, and Linux-based systems.
• Collaborate with a trans-disciplinary team of network support specialists.
• Continuously enhance technical support skills and networking knowledge.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication.

Requirements

• Must be based in Sofia, Bulgaria and available to work US shifts.
• Deep understanding of the OSI model (layers 1-4).
• Experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, and ARP.
• Proficiency in basic configuration and troubleshooting of network devices.
• Strong verbal and written business communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience in technical support with enterprise networking equipment.
• Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
