Tableau Developer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Tableau Developer (Fintech): Processing and visualizing data from various sources, working with consulting and software development teams with an accent on data presentation and UX design. Focus on mentoring junior Tableau developers and training clients on effective uses of Tableau.

Location: US only, open to work Pacific Time (PT). Availability to travel to Bay Area 1-4 times per year to meet clients on-site is ideal.

Salary: $83,200-$120,640 depending on experience.

What you will do

• Process and visualize data from various sources.
• Build dashboards and interactive visualizations.
• Mentor junior Tableau developers and work with web, FileMaker, and design teams.
• Advise and train clients on Tableau usage.
• Document and demonstrate solutions to end users.
• Manage multiple projects and tasks.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Business Intelligence or data analytics experience.
• Senior-level Tableau knowledge and experience.
• Business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
• Experience aggregating data from multiple sources and with SQL data sources (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Experience sourcing data from REST APIs.

Nice to have

• Tableau certification.
• Strong background in database structures and database development.
• Scripting/automation experience.
• Experience using Python, Java, or similar.
• Training, teaching, and/or business presentation experience.
• FileMaker platform familiarity.
