What you will do
- Lead a high-quality, efficient month-end close and deliver board-ready reporting with robust reconciliations and clear audit trails.
- Strengthen financial controls, systems, and automation to build a scalable, investor-ready finance function.
- Act as the lead for audit, year-end accounts, VAT, payroll, and broader tax compliance.
- Partner cross-functionally to translate financial performance into commercial insight, confidently challenging on accounting treatment where needed.
- Lead and develop the finance team, raising standards, improving processes, and embedding a systems-first, high-performance culture as the company scales.
Requirements
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong post-qualified experience.
- Proven experience operating as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager within a scaling, high-growth environment.
- Strong technical grounding, with clear SaaS/software revenue recognition experience and a deep understanding of financial controls.
- Systems-first mindset — instinctively improving processes, leveraging automation, and enhancing reporting accuracy.
- Confident communicator with gravitas, comfortable challenging stakeholders and translating financial data into commercial insight.
- Meticulous, disciplined, and commercially aware, with the drive to build a finance function that supports rapid and sustainable growth.
