Staff Product Designer (Medtech)

Location: New York, NY / San Francisco, CA / Los Angeles, CA. Full-time role based in NYC with hybrid in-office work 3–4 days per week, or in San Francisco with remote work until the SF office opens.

What you will do

• Establish information architecture practices and shape an integrated preventative-health product offering.
• Design and improve experiences across patient, provider, and growth products.
• Take new and existing features from conception through testing, implementation, and iteration.
• Conduct qualitative research through prototypes, user interviews, and surveys.
• Grow and maintain the design system and component library.
• Help build a culture of quality, craft, empathy, trust, and collaboration.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience designing compelling digital products.
• Strong customer focus, design fundamentals, and attention to craft.
• Experience taking products from 0 to 1 and improving them through rapid iteration.
• Ability to work independently through ambiguity and drive product decisions with product and engineering partners.
• Clear, direct, high-signal written and verbal communication.
• Resilience, curiosity, ownership, and comfort working in a demanding startup environment.
