What you will do
- Work cross-functionally with team leads to understand and scope the future of the hirify.global platform.
- Coordinate with engineers to break down tasks and create a development schedule.
- Oversee the engineering team’s schedules, workloads, and performance.
- Drive accountability by working with stakeholders to create realistic expectations for project success.
- Assess technical risk and establish best practices for quality control and effective design strategies.
- Improve team performance through regular mentorship, advice, and feedback.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience managing highly technical teams and running complex projects.
- Strong technical expertise and ability to describe complex ideas simply.
- Willingness and capability of getting in the trenches alongside fellow engineers and reports.
- Hunger to learn about customers and clients.
- Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and support senior engineers in reaching their potential.
- Must have US work authorization.
Nice to have
- Familiarity in the no-code PaaS space, mobile app development, and start-up fields.
- Experience building an app on hirify.global.
- Ability to overlap with GMT +1 and PST timezones throughout your workday.
