What you will do
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering Leadership to align the technical roadmap with hirify.global’s commercial goals and translate complex business needs into a cohesive configuration strategy.
- Drive the vision for a configuration-first architecture, overseeing the engineering of systems for environment provisioning and multi-tenant isolation.
- Improve engineering productivity and velocity by building paved paths and configuration frameworks to reduce development friction.
- Lead a multi-team organization by managing Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers, including organizational design and headcount planning.
- Champion a culture of continuous growth by building leadership pipelines, mentoring engineering managers, and establishing clear career development paths.
- Lead improvements to cross-functional business processes and effectively manage trade-offs between short-term execution and medium-term architectural investments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 12+ years of experience in software or platform engineering.
- 5+ years of experience managing engineering managers and leading technical strategy for large, multi-team organizations.
- Proven track record of People Development, including experience hiring, mentoring, and scaling engineering management layers.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling Control Planes or configuration-driven platforms in a multi-tenant environment.
- Ability to harmonize complex product requirements with engineering constraints to drive organizational velocity.
- English: B2 required.
Nice to have
- Experience leading organizations of 30-50+ individuals and developing high-potential talent into leadership roles.
- Experience defining and tracking metrics related to engineering productivity and developer experience (e.g., DORA metrics).
- Ecosystem knowledge in the Biopharma, Payer, or Clinical Site domain, with an understanding of highly regulated industries.
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to influence VP-level stakeholders across Product, Science, and Engineering.
