TL;DR

Business Development Representative (Fintech): Cultivating new business opportunities and building rapport with senior executives for a SaaS accounting solution with an accent on strategizing and identifying solutions for client barriers. Focus on creating robust prospecting lists, developing effective outbound communication, and converting qualified prospects to scheduled demos.

Location: Hybrid in Los Angeles, California, requiring 3 days per week in the office. Visa sponsorship is NOT available at this time.

Salary: $70,000 (base) – $95,000 (OTE)

What you will do

  • Cultivate new business opportunities and build rapport with senior level executives at potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of client barriers, strategizing solutions for hirify.global to help resolve them.
  • Utilize all available means to create robust and effective prospecting lists.
  • Build effective outbound communication strategies for sales prospecting including phone, email, and social media.
  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly activity targets for conversations, introductory qualifying calls, and scheduling demos for Account Executives.
  • Track progress and document activities in Salesforce automation systems.
  • Effectively work cross functionally with stakeholders including Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales Management.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a customer facing role OR prior accounting/finance experience with the interest of starting your career in sales.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new concepts and eager to be coached.
  • Commitment to self-improvement and success, with a collaborative orientation.
  • Ability to remain organized and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competitive, ambitious, and driven, with a self-starter attitude.
  • Work in office 3 days per week in Los Angeles, California.
  • Visa sponsorship is NOT available at this time.

Nice to have

  • Cold calling and/or Salesforce experience.
  • Finance or FinTech experience.
